Wow its been so long since I last posted!

I am so bad at blogging! no wonder no one reads this page, I never update it! Ok so since I last posted I've opened up a little graphics shop on ES, so perhaps I'll post a few of my creations on here :) I'm off to uni soon so at the moment I'm trying to completely clear out my room, which i'm not doing too great at, but I'm getting there. I also have to buy a whole bunch of stuff like a frying pan, and cutlery etc... It's gonna be so weird going to uni, but hopefully heaps of fun! :D Also Whats up with these hideous adverts up all over the place?!? I take it theres no way to get rid of them on a free account...

Weell that was a nice and pointless post :P I'll add some graphics soon!

I drew a picture for Dani's birthday in chalk pastels the other day.. I thought I'd post it on here, i really tried to capture her character and kinda of essence lol but I'm not totally convinced i got her likeness quite right. I hope she liked it anyways, I haven't drawn anything in over a year :O

After having no luck creating layouts, I made some assorted icons, I figured since they were smaller they had to be easier right? :P They range from The OC related, to Gossip Girl, to Veronica Mars, and a couple of Jodelle at the Camie awards... As you can probably tell I'm totally in love with selective colouring at the moment, it just makes things look so pretty! Feedback much appreciated :)

Woo job!

As of today, I have a job, which is really cool because now I can actually buy the things I want such as DVDs and an external hard drive for my laptop. Plus the best part is I work Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm so I never have to get up early in the morning :P

Well thats about all thats new in my life, I had Chinese for lunch today, I do love those duck pancakes!

New Layout

I finally figured out how to make my own layout using S2, I quite like it actually!

Oo and on another note, since I have come back home from living at my cousin's the last six months, I have been hanging in CVs and getting job applications, tomorrow I have a job interview for the co-op, and on Thursday I have an interview with the lady from an icecream shop, I soo want to get that job! Hopefully I'd get free ice-cream :D

I made some icons i while ago for Dani's Jenna Boyd site she was making, since I don't think shes continuing with the site I thought I'd post um on here to see what you guys think of them. I hadn't done any graphics in ages when I made them so they may be a little naff (sp), be warned :P

I really wanted my userpics yo show up when I posted something so I switched to S2, unfortunately I have no idea how to use it so for now I am using this beautiful layout by premade_ljs :) I really like it, and as soon as I get photoshop installed (on this new laptop of my very own!!) I will attempt something of my own, not to mention some new icons :D

I really want to put up a new layout but I don't seem to be having much luck making one. Home for the Holidays

I've been staying with my cousin for the past few month to help look after her children as a job in my gap year. I've come back home for a week and a half for Christmas and was really looking forward to doing some classic cheesy Christmas stuff like making a yule log and some very last minute Christmas shopping and making last minute Christmas pressies and stuff with my mum and sister... Unfortunately they're both really really ill and have barely been able to eat let alone do all those things. So instead of all those things I was looking forward to I've been doing all the cooking, clean and laundry and getting them drinking and soup and things. It's not that I mind, since my mum used to do so much for me on the rare occasion that I was ill, I just feel like this Christmas has been really... well, special I suppose. I dunno why I'm writing this really, I just thought I'd share my thoughts with someone, since clearly I can't tell them ; )

Do you ever get into the mode of doing a certain type of graphics and then when you attempt something else you cant do it? Recently I've been trying to do loads of icons (although I'm not totally convinced I have much skill in that area :P) but in the past couple of days I've been trying to make a layout for Etoile (Jodelle), and I really can't do it, I'm really rusty at doing layouts, it feels like so long since I've last done one! It's driving me crazy! it's like instead of having writers block I have 'graphics block'.. has anyone else experienced anything like this or am I the only one?

Woo! I finally put up a new layout :P in the hopes that I will update this more! I hate putting up new layouts, its fun at first but then it always seems to take aaaages!
On another note, last weekend I went to Ireland for my cousins wedding, and here's a picture of me in my dress: (this is not something you see very often ;P)

Insomnia?

Ever find you're lying there awake at night unable to sleep, or even perhaps sitting in front of a computer screen wondering why you seem to be the only person around who is still awake? Me too :P I thought I'd list a few of the strange things I have done in these situations, any funny story from other would be great welcome also :)
I have:
-Decided to thoroughly clean out my entire room -big giant bin bags of stuff went, at 3 in the morning (needless to say there was still plenty of stuff left even after throwing out all of that)
-Taken a little tour of the house, sometimes its ice to see what the house looks like at 4.30 in the morning...
-Tossed and turned and ended up stuck upsidedown and half way down the ladder of my bunkbed, and still awake after all that >:(
-Your usual 2.00am shower, to start you off on -well, a nice nights sleep I suppose :S
-Record all the stupid stuff I've done whilst trying to sleep by writing it in my Livejournal!
-Drawing on of my stuffed animals, sometimes life can get preeeetty dull when you think you're the only one awake (although I did you that drawing as part of my art coursework in the end so it's not all bad... :P ).
-Tried to make a lot of noise 'by accident' in the hopes you will soon not be alone in being the only conscious presence in the household, OK I haven't actually done this one, but I do consider doing it quite often :P
-Played games of air hockey with myself (yes I'm that sad) and with other objects from around the room, posing as goalie. Who needs an opponent when you're got a bottle of baileys standing in the way between you and the 'goal'?
Well that’s about all I can think of right now, other than your usual past-midnight snacks and late night/early morning tv viewings...

Allnighter

Well this is the first time in a long while I've pulled an allnighter! my graphics coursework (that I've been doing for a year) is in today, and I had so much to do... So after staying up all night it is finally done! :D but oh my gosh was it a mission and half! We had to make a 3D model and 2D graphics for it as part of the coursework, and everything that could go wrong did go wrong, there was not one part of it that didn't mess up. I really cannot believe that I actually managed to finish it, of course it's not as good as it could have been >: /
Anyways I'd better start getting ready for college now, it feels rather odd being on the comp at this time in the morning, I stay up until 5am on the computer sometimes but I always go to bed afterwards.. and the weird thing is, I'm not even that tired, which is strange because I have gotten no more than 4hrs sleep every night this week, damned coursework!

I made a new siggy, I tried using and altering one of Madison's icon tutorials ( luvjodill_tuts) to make it : )

I really should be doing coursework right now, I have so much to, in for Thursday and Friday, and I'm just sitting here chatting away on msn and messing around on Paint Shop... I'm such an idiot, I just can't stop procrastinating!

I've put a new layout up which I do quite like, the pictures are of my little cousin Josh he is so hilarious, in the little black and white picture he is actually licking the bush! I'm gonna have to post some pictures that I took when visiting my cousins on here, they quite entertaining :)
Thanks to the amazing Madison my friends page is now sorted out, speaking of which, I don't have many friends (on here lol) so I'd love to have so more :D
Anyways thats it for now, I'll post again later with the pictures :P

Hmm this whole journal thing is going... very slowly, my friends page has gone all funny and I don't know how to fix it, and until I do so, I don't really want to show it off to anyone if you know what I mean...
Anyways, here goes my first real 'bloggish' post, I've just been down to visit my cousin and her kids for a week, they're 1& a half and 2& a half years old. So funny not so little kids, I took a bunch of pics which I'm thinking of making icons out of... the only problem begin I don't actually know how to post um on here, which is something I'd really like to do! Josh, the younger one is so cute! he's a right little chunky one but so sweet, he loves to get muddy and as covered in dirt as possible. He had been rolling around in the garden and then half jumped in their water butt, and then came over and pounced on me, giving me a huge hug and getting me totally soaked! My cousin just laughed, everything I owned by the end of the week was covered in dirt and dribble!
On the way down we stopped by my other cousins (yes I have quite a few) and he has two little kids also, Clodagh, who is also 2 and a half wanted me and my sister to play hide and seek with her. My sister had to hide and Clodagh and I had to find her. She hid along the bench next to the dinner table and put a napkin over her head, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her, Clodagh actually didn't see her when she first looked for her around the room, it was so funny. I was never a huge fan of little children before but they are really sweet and they make me laugh so much, they come out with the funniest of things!

Recently I decided starting a blog looked like fun, after reading others and finding out how witty and humorous they could be. I'll try and make mine as entertaining but I can't promise anything -I'm not all that good with words ; ) actually I'm so awful with them I constantly get them mixed up, jumbled around and well in such a total mess no one can understand a thing I am saying :P for example, bubblegum is no long referred to as bubblegum but rather 'GubbleBum'. And people don't shampoo their carpets, they 'carpoo their shampets', believe me it gets worse!
